Traditional Ayurvedic knowledge passed over to generations – that is the strong point of Kandam Kulathi Vaidya Sala. Pathrose Vaidyar of Kandam Kulathi Vaidya Sala originally prepared medicines exclusively treatment at his vaidya sala (a vaidya sala is an Ayurvedic treatment center). This vaidya had his own treatment methods, which he elucidated in his writings. His writings is the cornerstone asset of the Vaidyasala.

Commercial production of medicines started in the year 1987. Kandamkulathi vaidyasala can be located near Mala in Thrissur Dist. Kerala. Company today has over 450 medicines in the market. Kandamkulathi eladi lehyam, Thengin Pookkuladi Rasayanam, Karpooradi lehyam, are the most prominent among them.

Kandamkulathi Ayurvedic Nursing Center is a full fledged Ayurvedic Hospital. Kandamkulathi Ayurvedic Clinic has branches at Munnar, Kovalam and Kochi. Facilities for panchakarma therapy are available in those centers.
