Jayabharatam Oushadasala

Jayabharatam Ayurveda Vaidyasala was started in the year 1942 by P O Thomas at Punaloor in Koll“` Dist of Kerala. Providing good treatment options for poor and the deprived was the prime aim of instituting Jayabharatam Ayurvedic treatment center.

The name has another significance too. Freedom struggle was at its peak while this oushadasala (a medicine shop) was instituted. Jayam means victory and Bharatam is the other name of India. Thus Jayabharatam is the victory of India in her struggle for freedom.

Proximity to the Western Ghats ensured a rich supply of fresh medicinal plants. Thus the production of medicines got a head start.

Jayabharatam Oushadasala has more than 300 medicines, including 32 patented medicines in the market. The production facilities and treatment center are developed to reach strict quality compliance.

Most of the herbs come from own medicinal plant garden.
